Biography
Elon Reeve Musk was born in born June 28, 1971. He was born at Pretoria, South Africa. His mother is Maye Musk (née Haldeman), a model and dietitian born in Saskatchewan, Canada. His father is Errol Musk, a South African electromechanical engineer, pilot, sailor, consultant, and property developer. He has a younger brother, Kimbal (born 1972), and a younger sister, Tosca (born 1974). After his parents divorced in 1980, Musk lived mostly with his father in the suburbs of Pretoria.
Early Life
Musk was an avid reader, at the age of 10 he developed an interest in computing and learned computer programming which leads to creating a Basic computer game Blastar which he later sold for $500. He attended Waterkloof House Preparatory School and Bryanston High School before graduating from Pretoria Boys High School.

His next big venture seems to be in Artificial Intelligence where he made OpenAI open-source. Elon believes that humans should be multi-planet species. Although he had openly stated that he might be around when that happens but his ideas would still be around if humans can reach Mars.
He has always been a self-thought individual. He also stated that education in Universities or colleges is not always a way to achieve your dreams. He has always been an outspoken individual who shares his thoughts with the world. Elon Musk was also on Top chart in the World’s Richest person list, although it was short stayed his visions for the future are long-term and look more promising.
Elon Musk once said in his interview with Khan academy that when he started PayPal he would actually pay people to use the payment service so that it could grow. A considerable sum was even invested for that to happen. He recently(2021) donated $5mil to Khan academy so that children around the world can keep learning for free.
Elon Musk’s net worth is now estimated roughly around $185bn. He has announced $100Mil as a prize for anybody who comes up with the best carbon capture technology. He is active on Twitter and does like to spend his time there.
Tesla delivered a record number of cars in 2020, the company said, just narrowly missing its half a million target for the year. The pioneering high-end electric vehicle maker delivered 180,570 cars to customers and produced 179,757 in the fourth quarter of the year.
On December 9, 2020, Starship serial number 8 (SN8) completed a high-altitude flight test as it successfully ascended, transitioned propellant, and demonstrated a first-of-its-kind controlled aerodynamic descent and landing flip maneuver – which will enable landing where prepared surfaces or runways do not exist, including the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
Elon musk has also described his disappointment with people like Neil Armstrong who were his heroes and said that they were his inspirations.
